Ancient MACEDON ( ROMAN PROTECTORATE), Republican Period. first Meris Tetradrachm.

Obv: Diademed and draped bust of Artemis to right, bow and quiver over shoulder within a circular border of dots at the center of a Macedonian shield decorated with seven eight-pointed stars within double crescents, each seperated by three pellets.

Rev: Latin writing horizontal club with its head to right above, within an oak wreath tied to left, outside the wreath on the left, winged thunderbolt.
