Ancient roman Glass Jar With Spiral Trail Decoration. 1st-2nd Century CE.

A finely blown Roman glass jar featuring a distinctly piriform in a rare honey color. Pear-shaped body, tapering elegantly to a narrower neck. the vessel has a slightly flaring rim, likely tooled for controlled pouring.

The body is decorated with applied horizontal and spiral glass trails. Two applied handles rise from the upper shoulder area and attach to the rim.

In a very good condition. Intact.
